Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 25, 2026
The Ring App: Explore Wagner ("the app") is developed by Greg Langmead, operating as Luminous Designs. This policy describes what information the app accesses and how it is handled.
Data the app does not collect
The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no telemetry of any kind. The app does not use cookies or fingerprinting.
Apple Music
The app uses Apple's MusicKit framework to play audio from your Apple Music subscription. MusicKit communicates directly between your device and Apple's servers. The app never sees or stores your Apple Music credentials or listening history.
In-app purchases
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. The app verifies purchase status on-device only. No purchase information is sent to any external server.
Wikipedia content
The app loads synopses and background articles from Wikipedia when you request them. These requests go directly from your device to Wikipedia's servers. The app does not proxy, cache on a server, or otherwise intermediate these requests.
On-device storage
The app stores your preferences (selected recording, playback position, and purchase state) locally on your device. This data is not transmitted anywhere.
Children's privacy
The app does not knowingly collect information from children. It does not collect information from anyone.
